The Changing Tides.....

Everything in its own season and a new is here

Old habits fade away to let new life begin

The past is the past and I chose not to dwell

I have found a new me and I am living proof

That happiness is not found in someone else

My happiness I have found in myself

Yes there have been mistakes, hurt along the way

But that part is over and it has to be said

Did it not awaken the dead in you all

Did it not make you see what you could have lost

Did it not give you hope where none was there

Did it not help you find strength that was replaced for despair

As you look back over the year thus far

Know everything that happened was for those reasons

And know you can have a better life if you chose

Or stay in the very spot that I found you

Either way I have moved on

Becoming a better me 

Learning from my mistakes

Finding in myself the true me
