Breathe
The night, cool and crisp,
Standing, looking for you,
To come into my arms again.
Could it be that I have lost you,
To the stranger you have become.
Could it be that I am fading,
Hoping you will let me back in.
The stars, looking they stare,
Waiting, wanting to see,
If you will return to the person I knew,
Or if you will leave, like the breath I breathe.
In limbo I wait, to see if you come back
In limbo I live because I don't know where you stand
In limbo I die, that part of me that loves you.
My heart is yours, because you refuse to give it back.
So I'll wait with a hole in my chest.
